From her website: The last 25 years I have dedicated myself to teaching students about the arts and now, in this next chapter of my life, I am a full time artist in Maine. The process of making art is a joyful experience for me. I create landscapes on canvas and wood panels using acrylic paints. My inspiration comes from observing the beauty found in the light, colors and shapes of nature which I feature throughout my work. My pieces all share a unique quality of bright colors and textured backgrounds.

Birch trees are my absolute favorite subject matter as well as landscapes, sunrises/sunsets and florals. I often enhance colors and composition to capture a moment or feeling. I want to share with my viewers what I see and feel with my heart, expressing the moments of joy in the world around me.
