Élise Bolduc
Pet Portrait Artist
From Élise:
I am originally from Quebec, Canada. I moved to Maine in 2013 to study Architecture at UMA. I live in Hallowell with my husband, son, 2 dogs, 2 cats and a bunny. Art is a hobby for me. I do primarily animal portraits in white charcoal on black cardstock paper. I recently started oil pastel (mostly nature scenes, animals as well)
Last year I had the chance to illustrate a book cover for Maine writer Philip Baker. The book is called Hunger Hill.
I have also done some cards to raise money for Hallowell’s historic building preservation group called Row house. They are watercolors and represent some well known building in Hallowell. They are sold at Berry&Berry and the Rusticator Emporium.
