Belgrade Lakes
Belgrade Lakes consists of 7 lakes that feed into the Kennebec via Messalonskee Stream.
The lakes are : North Pond, East Pond, Ellis Pond McGrath Pond, Great Pond, Long Pond and Messalonskee Lake.
Great Pond is famous for being the setting of the play “On Golden Pond” (though the movie was filmed in New Hampshire).
